How we work
OUR PROCESS
We reach out to talented minority filmmakers for new ideas and fresh scripts. We understand that there are many talented filmmakers whose voices have not been heard, and we are committed to changing that.
Once we have found a project that speaks to us, we work with the filmmaker during the development process. Our experienced team is there to help guide the project and ensure that it meets our high standards for quality and authenticity. We believe in creating a collaborative environment where everyone's ideas are heard and valued.
When it comes time to crew up for the project, we prioritize working with local filmmakers. This not only helps support the local film industry, but it also ensures that the project has a diverse crew that represents the community in which it is made. We are dedicated to using people of color and LGBTQ crew members in all of our films, both in front and behind the camera. We believe that representation matters, and we are committed to doing our part to create a more inclusive and equitable film industry.
Once the film is completed, we submit it to film festivals and showcase the work we proudly make with the world. We believe that film festivals are an important platform for underrepresented voices to be heard, and we are dedicated to making sure that our films have the opportunity to reach a wider audience.
OUR OUTCOME
Our films have been selected and recognized by several prestigious film festivals. We have won awards and been selected for screening at the Denton Black Film Festival, AltFF Film Festival, Longhorn Film Festival, Prison City Film Festival, Music City Film Festival, Las Vegas Black Film Festival, New York Movie Awards, WPG Film Festival, New Cinema- Lisbon FF, Screen Power Film Festival and more.
These honors reflect our commitment to excellence in filmmaking and our dedication to creating films that tell important stories. We are grateful for the recognition that our films have received, and we are committed to continuing to create impactful and meaningful work.
“My largest focus is in giving opportunities to minorities and other underrepresented groups to step up to positions that they are not usually offered, and seeing them thrive in those positions.”
