MISSION
Based out of the DFW, Caramel Productions has one objective:
To make and display art or stories told by people of color and/or in the LGBTQ+ Community. It is time for out stories to be represented in the media and we are doing so by pairing up with some of the most talented and well versed people in the industry and pushing the boundaries in today's mediums.
GOALS
Our industry is changing, and it is doing so quickly.
Audiences want to see themselves represented on the big screen. The box office has shown us this time and time again. However, this change is not enough. Having people that look and act like us on TV is not enough. Who are the people telling these stories? Are the people behind the camera people like you and me?
We don’t just want to change the representation, we wan’t to flip the industry. We are going to create a fully inclusive environment for crew members, story tellers and creatives to all be a a part of.

HISTORY
Welcome to Caramel Productions, a film production company founded in 2017 by a group of friends who saw a lack of representation in short films at their college. Fueled by a passion for storytelling and a desire to bring diverse voices to the forefront, the company quickly gained momentum and recognition in the film industry.
Since its inception, Caramel Productions has produced a variety of films, ranging from short documentaries to experimental and horror films, all with the common goal of shining a light on underrepresented communities and telling their stories in an authentic and compelling way. The company's work has been recognized by numerous film festivals, including the "Denton Black Film Festival," where it won several awards.
Despite its success, Caramel Productions remains true to its roots. The company was founded on the idea of having fun and creating something that is representative of the team's culture and past. This spirit of creativity and joy is evident in every project the company takes on, as the team works tirelessly to produce work that is not only artistically excellent but also meaningful and impactful.
